Use the unique traffic light system to see where things
are going right, or may be at risk
The unique ItsGenie Insight traffic light system is phenomenally powerful. It allows you, at a glance, to see how your whole business is performing and whether your goals are going to be met.
If any individual or team goal is changed, the system will automatically ensure the impact of this on the rest of the business is understood and communicated.
From this screen you can see the detail of any team in the organisation with one mouse click and get to any individual in two mouse clicks.
How it works
1. If an individual believes they may not be able to achieve one of their goals they update their personal goal traffic light to amber (the goal is at risk) or red (the goal will not be achieved). They will be prompted to do this, but can also update it themselves at any time. There are further steps which can be introduced at this stage if required, such as requiring information on the reason for the change, or requiring confirmation for the change from a manager, appraiser or other member of the team.
2. If a personal goal is changed (and the change has been approved if appropriate), the person responsible for the next goal up in the line-of-sight is asked whether this change affects their ability to deliver, and if so prompts for a change to their traffic light.
3. This escalation process will continue, ensuring the full impact on the business is understood and the appropriate action is taken.
As the system ensures goals are kept up to date, and the impact of changes are automatically assessed, you can always be sure that the information you are looking at in the overall traffic light display is up-to-date.
