Theodore Mason

Theo founded S-cool Limited in 2000, a company specialised in the provision of education systems to school, local authorities and government.  In 2008, Theo led the investment by S-cool into the ItsGenie suite of products.    By 2010, with S-cool being used by over 4,000,000 students and 75% of schools and local authorities, it was sold to UCAS, leaving Theo free to focus on the rapidly expanding ItsGenie business.

Judge trained as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG, working in both audit and IT consultancy before founding S-cool Limited with Theodore Mason. As Operations Director Judge oversaw the delivery of all S-cool's key programmes including the development of the ItsGenie division. Judge is an expert in client engagement, programme delivery and contractual/commercial arrangements and uses his extensive skills and experience to ensure first class delivery of systems and support for ItsGenie.

About ItsGenie

ItsGenie started as part of S-cool Limited. However, over the last two years we have outgrown our parent and demerged to become ItsGenie in November 2010.

Our first big step was in 2008 when we created a new version of an S-cool system called Plan-it which is being used in schools to support and motivate over 4m students with their development and career choices.  This new system, which we called ItsGenie, was designed to bring the benefits experienced in the education sector to other organsations.

In 2009 we started testing ItsGenie with some key partners in several continents.  Our partners ranged from small to multi-million pound organisations.

The benefit ItsGenie was able to bring to our partners was immediate, measurable and exciting.  As well as demonstrable saving in costs, our partners were able to show increased staff motivation and performance and reduced turnover.  In addition, the traffic light system is being used by our partners to highlight potential issues in their business and deal with these long before they become a problem.
